Candace is a proud mom to a sweet and energetic boy. She’s committed to raising her son to be kind, confident, and grounded, while embracing each season of motherhood and the memories it brings. As a Public Health Full Professor, she empowers future leaders to champion diversity and create healthier, more equitable communities. Passionate about servant leadership, she is committed to volunteering and serving alongside local organizations such as the Hendricks County Women's Giving Circle and the Avon Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Council. Candace also loves experiencing life beyond the ordinary by traveling, exploring local gems, and creating unforgettable family memories one adventure at a time.
