Kait is a small town, Indiana girl who knew she was destined for the Big(ger) City when she grew up.  After graduating from Indiana University with a degree in Elementary Education, she found her love and passion as a second grade teacher in Indianapolis for over thirteen years. Recently a “retired” a teacher, Kait is the mom to three sweet littles, Cohen, Lola and Remy, and a teenage step-daughter.  When she isn’t busy attempting to play Super Mom, she enjoys running, fashion, Bravo TV, iced coffee and following the Royal Family. Kait and her husband Kurtis reside in Westfield where they are raising their young family.

Emily is a busy working mom with two very active boys (Dylan & Tyler) and a very adventurous husband, Dustin. She lives in Brownsburg and works in fundraising for a large nonprofit, promoting heart health in our youth (inspired by her oldest son who was born with a heart defect). Emily loves audio books, yellow Labrador Retrievers, has a love/hate relationship with running and loves chocolate chip cookies.

Andrea is a recent SAHM and Project Manager for Indianapolis Moms. She lives in Noblesville with her husband Dan and their two kids, Jonathan and Sarah. They are involved at Congregation Beth-El Zedeck. You can usually see her with a cup of coffee in her hand and a smile on her face. Unless she doesn’t have said coffee. Then she is frowning and running towards her Keurig. Andrea is thrilled to be involved with IM as she goes through motherhood! She loves being able to bond with other parents. Other interests include reading, wine tasting, and working out on her spin bike to stay sane.

Lauren is an Indianapolis-based writer who lives in Broad Ripple with her husband, Jeff, and their persnickety Miniature Schnauzer, Sydney. In April 2015, a tiny, adorable human joined the family and another one in 2019. In addition to contributing to Indianapolis Moms Blog, Lauren is a member of the Indianapolis chapter of Women Writing for a Change, a national organization aimed at nourishing and celebrating female voices. Lauren writes about everything from running, craft beer and cooking to marriage, family relationships and motherhood.

Terri is a mom of two beautiful daughters under the age of two, with an energetic dog named Domer, and has the best hubby in the world. Originally from Chicago, she made her nest in Noblesville and absolutely loves her neighbors. A nurse turned stay at home mama, Terri is just trying to live her best life every day! Chasing her toddlersaurus is her main form of cardio, however shopping is a close second. Terri is passionate about supporting other moms, especially first time mamas.

Amanda is a stay-at-home mom to an adorable toddler, precious newborn and two puppies. A self proclaimed momarazzi she also runs a side business at Amanda Shaffer Photography. With a camera and coffee in hand she feels she can conquer anything. She is originally from a small sleepy town and is navigating motherhood and being in a big city all at once. Her husband is her biggest supporter and fan.

Maria is an adventurous mom of two and a successful local photographer. She is the owner of Eveslage Photography LLC where she specializes in families and high school seniors. During the winter season, you can find Maria and her family skiing during their free time and then hitting the bike park during warmer weather. You can also catch her teaching a Jazzercise class at the Westfield studio.
