A Kid-Friendly Summer Smoothie Recipe | It’s National Eat Your Vegetables Day!

Happy National Eat Your Vegetables Day! A tried and true way to get my little ones to eat vegetables is a GREEN SMOOTHIE! They’ve been eating them before they were one and still get excited when we make them.

This kid-friendly smoothie is perfect to get lots of fruits and veggies in, but also a great way to cool off in the summer heat!

Kid-Friendly Summer Smoothie – The Beginner’s Luck Smoothie from Simple Green Smoothies

1 cup fresh spinach

1 cup water

1/2 cup frozen pineapple

1/2 cup frozen mango

1 banana

Try this recipe, but don’t be afraid to alter and add as you go! I like to add carrots for extra vitamins and avocado for some healthy fats. The biggest key to a smooth smoothie is first blending the spinach and water before adding the remaining ingredients. You can also make a huge batch, can, and freeze them for an easy breakfast or snack on the go!
