The Nutcracker

An Indianapolis holiday season tradition continues bigger and better than ever in 2018, when Indianapolis Ballet and Methodist Sports Medicine will proudly present The Nutcracker at the historic Murat Theatre at Old National Centre from December 14-16.

After establishing its production of The Nutcracker as a local must-see during the holidays across the last 11 years, the Indianapolis School of Ballet will continue to be a part of Indiana’s grandest staging of the classic Christmas tale alongside the 20 members of the new Indianapolis Ballet professional company. Since moving to the Old National Centre in 2016, the production has grown to include live orchestral accompaniment – and for the second straight year IB is excited to have the 45-piece Indianapolis Ballet Orchestra on hand to bring Tchaikovsky’s popular holiday score to life!
