We’re for Cignetti. For his leadership. For the way he rewrote the game in Indiana. For his one-raised-eyebrow glares. (Personally, I’m for the way my preschooler yells “It’s Curt!” whenever he sees him, whether it’s at a game, on a t-shirt, or on a cookie cake). We’re for you, Coach.
We’re for the excitement and fun and history, but more than that, we’re for your story. For the messages you share about how teamwork matters. How together we are stronger. How you don’t need to be the number one recruit or standout star. How you can work hard and work together and accomplish more than anyone thought you could. How you can’t be counted out. How that hard work pays off over and over again. How your attitude matters. How believing in yourself matters. Could any message be better for our kids watching the games and interviews? We’re for your character and the way you inspire.
