We Are Indy Moms {Join Our Tribe}

Motherhood is is a journey. It’s a process. It’s a learning experience.  There aren’t directions or how-to lists on what makes a good mom. You spend months wondering and anticipating what this whole mom life things is going to be like and all of a sudden you are thrown into the motherhood pool with your eyes open and your nose unplugged. You have all the emotions and many times begin to lose yourself in the sweet smell of your child. The experiences, the stories – you start to make your own. But sometimes you just want to know that others feel the same way as you or have went through the same thing, but from a different perspective. You love to laugh at the stories, nod your head in agreement and shake your head when you don’t always agree. It’s these stories about motherhood and life that you can relate to and feel reassured that motherhood can be, well, a mother.

That’s where we come in.

Indianapolis Moms Blog is an Indianapolis parenting website that reaches thousands of moms not only in the city but around the nation. We are committed to telling the untold story – the story that will make you laugh, cry, get angry. That’s who we are.

Hear it straight from the ladies who make up our team:

“IMB is unique because it offers the perspectives of women who, in some cases, are completely different, but who have two things in common: motherhood and community. It’s a combination of personal stories, tactical advice and community engagement.”  Nikki

“All voices are welcome at the table. The narrative is shared no matter different it is. IMB is a voice for all moms, not just moms of a certain income, demographic, location, parenting style.” Candace

“Personal experiences…I don’t need anyone’s generic words of wisdom, but when someone shares her personal experience and what she learned or how she grew through it in a non-preachy way, I think of how it could apply to me and what I can take away from it. That’s powerful.” Molly

“To me, it’s- hands down- the heart and passion. I can think of something about each one of our contributors that they have heart for- and every time we get together in person, I leave feeling energized.” Nicki

“We are open and accepting and affirming and I love that about this community!” Katie

“We may agree on all things, but we agree that we are women/mothers and support each other views and beliefs. Lots of love and respect.” Lauren

“The diversity and talent of our contributors. We are not a single voice, a single perspective, a single experience. We are the collective voice of motherhood, representing a wide spectrum of experience.” Lauren

Indianapolis Moms Blog wants to include your voice and your perspective. Our team is ready to add more moms to this amazing tribe that represents this city. Let your voice be heard as we connect even more moms across the divide.
