It’s hard to believe that the 4th of July is almost here! We have rounded up several of the fun festivals, parades and fireworks that the Indianapolis area has to offer!
North
Spark! Fishers: June 21st-25th, Fishers
A weekend long festival with a Farmers Market, 5K race, parade and fireworks on Saturday evening.
Glorious 4th: July 2nd-4th, Conner Prairie in Fishers
Conner Prairie is hosting their annual Glorious 4th event, including traditional celebrations and an educational history on Independence Day with the citizens of Prairietown. To see all of the elements of Glorious 4th, check out their website.
Star Spangled Symphony: July 1st-4th, Conner Prairie in Fishers
Enjoy an evening of patriotic music by Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at Conner Prairie. The evening ends with a fireworks display.
Carmel Fest: July 3rd-4th, Carmel
An outdoor festival at Carmel Civic Square on Sunday and Monday. The full schedule, including parade and fireworks, on their event website.
Westfield Rocks the 4th: July 3rd-4th, Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield
This event has vendors, music and even a kids zone! It begins at 5:00 pm at Grand Park with fireworks at 10:00 pm.
Lights Over Morse Lake: July 1st-4th, Cicero
This event includes a festival with local vendors, a carnival, outdoor movies, live music and more! Fireworks begin at 10:00 pm on the 4th.
Blast on the Bridge: July 4th, Geist
Another year of fireworks at the Fall Creek Bridge in Geist Reservoir. According to the Facebook announcement, the bridge will not be closed.
Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Festival: July 4th, Noblesville
The parade begins at 4:30 pm with the festival following from 6:00-10:00 pm at Forest Park. Fireworks are at 10:00 pm.
Whitestown Independence Day Celebration: July 3rd, Whitestown
A family event in Whitestown that begins at 6:00 pm will have live music, food, inflatables for the kiddos, and fireworks at dark.
4th of July Celebration: July 4th, Lions Park in Zionsville
Come at 5:00 pm to Lions Park in Zionsville and you can enjoy live music, yummy food, fun and games for kids, and their fireworks display at 10:00 pm.
Downtown/Central
IPL Downtown Fireworks: July 4th, Downtown Indianapolis
This event takes place at the Indiana War Memorial grounds and includes food trucks, activities for the kids, live music and more! Fireworks begin at 10:00 pm from the Regions Tower.
Independence Day Celebration at Victory Field: July 4th, Downtown Indianapolis
Take the family to an Indianapolis Indians game and end the night with a fantastic fireworks display! Tickets start at $14.
West
Hendricks County Ribfest + Avon Balloon Glow: June 25th, Avon
From 10:00 am-10:00 pm, enjoy food, kids activities, tethered balloon rides and more! Fireworks begin at dark and tickets are just $5.
Brownsburg Lion’s Club 4th of July Extravaganza: June 29th- July 4th, Brownsburg
This festival includes carnival rides, live music and more! The parade begins at 10:00 am on the 4th and fireworks that evening.
Hummel Park’s Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza: July 4th, Plainfield
Enjoy vendors, live music, bounce houses and more from 5:00-10:30 pm at Hummel Park. Fireworks will begin at 9:55 pm.
East
New Pal Summer Fest: June 24th-25th, New Palestine
Live music, kids activities, and even a vintage car show can be found at this event. Fireworks conclude the event on Saturday.
Fourth of July Parade & Fireworks: July 4th, Greenfield
Fireworks begin at dusk from Greenfield Central Junior High School.
Fortville Summerfest & Fireworks: July 8th-9th, Fortville
Things kick off at 6:00 pm and the night ends with fireworks at dusk in Landmark Park.
South
Greenwood Freedom Festival: June 25th, Greenwood
A parade starts the day at 4:00 pm with nearly 30 vendors, food and live music at the event after. Fireworks begin at 10:15pm. Check out their website for the parade route, live music info, and more!
Red, White and Blueberry Festival: July 2nd-4th, Mallow Run Winery in Bargersville
A family friendly event with food, music and all things blueberry – including a complimentary wine tasting in their tasting room until 6:00 pm. There will be live music on the lawn and the event concludes with a fireworks display.
Franklin Fireworks Festival: July 3rd, Franklin Amphitheater in Franklin
Enjoy plenty of food vendors, entertainment and more! The festival begins at 2:00 pm and fireworks will start at 10:10 pm.
All American Day at the Park: July 3rd, Beech Grove
This event includes local vendors, starting at 6:00 pm. The event concludes with fireworks at approximately 10:00 pm.
