Spring has sprung! We can all finally come out of hibernation and enjoy the warmer temperatures and outdoor activities, including visiting an Indianapolis farmers’ market. We have rounded up a list of Indianapolis farmers’ markets for you to enjoy, so get your shopping list ready. Whether you’re looking for some yummy jams, homemade decor, or fresh flowers, you’re sure to find it at one of these weekly markets. With several markets open throughout the week, there’s likely one that will fit your needs in terms of time and location – so come See Circle City with us!


The City Market

When: May-October, open every Wednesday from 10:00 am-1:30 pm
Where: 222 East Market Street Indianapolis, IN 46204
About: Our first Indianapolis farmers’ market is known as “The Original Farmers’ Market” in Indianapolis. The farmers’ market at the City Market runs from May through October, rain or shine. Outside the downtown City Market, between Delaware and Alabama Street, you will find an array of fresh fruits, veggies, meats, baked goods, flowers, and wine. Grab some lunch at one of the various food vendors and it will soon become a favorite hump day tradition.


Broad Ripple Farmers’ Market

When: May-September, open Saturdays from 8:00 am-noon; October, open Saturdays from 9:00 am-noon
Where: 6001 N. Rural St. Indianapolis, IN 46220
About: Located at the Glendale Town Center parking lot East of Lowe’s, the Broad Ripple Farmers’ Market is hosted by the Broad Ripple Village Association (BRVA) to support Broad Ripple village development and beautification projects. Check out their FAQ Page to learn more.


Binford Market

When: May-September, open Saturdays from 8:00 am-noon
Where: 6620 Northview Way, Indianapolis, IN 46220
About: Located at Northview Church, the Binford Farmers’ Market is sponsored by the Binford Redeveloped and Growth, Inc. (BRAG). Over 80 vendors make up this space and offer meats, cheeses, fresh and locally grown produce, and fun crafts.


Carmel Market

When: May-September, open Saturdays from 8:00-11:30 am
Where: 2 Carter Green, Carmel, IN 46032
About: The Carmel Farmers’ Market, located at the corner of City Center Dr. and SW 3rd St, right off the Monon at the Center Green by the Palladium, you’ll find your typical market offerings and then some. Come hungry, enjoy live music, and leave happy at this north side staple. With new vendors added every year, it’s no wonder this is one of the most popular markets in town.


Noblesville Market

When: May-October, open Saturdays from 8:00 am-noon
Where: 175 Logan St, Noblesville, IN 46060
About: The Noblesville Farmers’ Market, located at Federal Hill Commons, is the oldest and largest market in Hamilton County, with more than 100 vendors, and includes handmade items and crafts. Come and peruse the booths, or relax and enjoy the live music while indulging in one of the many food and drink offerings.


Garfield Park Farmers’ Market

When: May-October, open Saturdays from 9:00 am-12:30 pm
Where: 2345 Pagoda Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46203
About: The Garfield Park Farmers’ Market is located in Garfield Park next to the tennis courts near the corner of Shelby Street and East Southern Avenue. This market is another great way to support local farmers and artisans. For more information and a list of vendors, check out their website.


Zionsville Market

When: May-September, open Saturdays from 8:00-11:30 am
Where: 349 S Main St Zionsville, IN 46077
About: The Zionsville Farmers’ Market is located in the heart of the Zionsville village at the corner of Main and Pine Streets. In this quaint market, you will find locally grown produce, fresh meat, and eggs. Local restaurants offer made-to-order favorites. Grab breakfast and take time to walk through this charming downtown village. You won’t regret it.


Brownsburg Market

When: June-August, open Thursdays from 4:00-7:00 pm
Where: 61 N. Green St, Brownsburg, IN 46112
About: Hosted by IU Health West Hospital, the Brownsburg Farmers’ Market is located on the Brownsburg Town Hall Green. You’ll find fresh produce, baked goods, and handcrafted items. Check out their website for a list of fun activities you will find at upcoming markets, including the Brownsburg Public Library booth.


Plainfield Chamber Farmers’ Market

When: June-September, open Wednesdays from 4:00-7:00 pm
Where: Plainfield Friends Church, 105 S. East Street, Plainfield, IN 46168
About: Located in downtown Plainfield on the lawn of the Plainfield Friends Meeting at US 40 and SR 267, the Plainfield Chamber Farmers’ Market occurs every Wednesday, rain or shine. In addition to the typical farmers’ market offerings, you’ll also find non-profit info booths and food trucks.


Greenwood Market

When: Late April through September, open Saturdays from 8:00 am-noon
Where: 525 N Madison Ave Greenwood, IN 46142
About: Established in 1992, the Greenwood Farmers’ Market is located at the Greenwood United Methodist Church. It showcases the usual market fare including great plants, produce, crafts, and food.


Fishers Market

When: May-September, open Saturdays from 8:00 am-noon
Where: 6 Municipal Drive Fishers, IN 46038
About: Located at both the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater, the Fishers Farmers’ Market offers produce, plants, baked goods, meat and eggs, honey, beverages, and even dog treats! Please note the different dates and times per location as you plan your visit.


Avon Market

When: June-August, open Tuesdays from 4:00-7:00 pm
Where: 8244 E. US Hwy 36, Avon, IN 46123
About: The Avon Farmers’ Market is located in the South parking lot of the Hendricks Regional Health and will bring fresh produce, baked goods, and handcrafted items to Avon residents.


Westfield Market

When: Late May-September, open Thursdays from 5:00-8:00 pm
Where: 225 S Union St, Westfield, IN 46074
About: The Westfield Farmers’ Market is located at the popular Grand Junction Plaza. The market will be open from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Check out their Facebook page for updates.


Irvington Garden Club

When: June-October, open Sundays from 12:00-3:00 pm
Where: 5301 E St Clair St, Indianapolis, IN 46219
About: The Irvington Garden Club is located at Ellenberger Park and shoppers are encouraged to walk or bike to his farmers’ market. They usually have around 100 vendors on these Sunday markets, and you can visit their FAQ page for more information on what you can find!


SoBro Farmers’ Market

When: May-September, open Wednesdays from 4:30-7:30 pm
Where: 4842 N College Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46205
About: The SoBro Farmers’ Market is located next to the Upland Brewery on College Ave in, you guessed it, SoBro (or South BroadRipple). That area’s market is growing, and they are looking for volunteer help!


Pike Market

When: June-September, open Saturdays from 8:30 am-12:00 pm
Where: 5429 Lafayette Rd, Indianapolis IN 46254
About: The Pike Farmers’ Market is returning for its third season in the parking lot of Common Ground West Church. The market serves the Pike Township community as well as greater northwest Indianapolis. Check back to their website for a vendor lineup!
