It’s hard to believe that the 4th of July is almost here! We have rounded up several of the fun festivals, parades and fireworks that the Indianapolis area has to offer!


Downtown/Central

Fourth Fest: July 4th, Downtown Indianapolis

This event begins at 6:00 pm with food trucks, ice cream stands, beverages, and a Kids Zone on St. Clair Street and American Legion Mall. And don’t forget the main event – fireworks! Fireworks begin just after 10:00 pm.

Independence Day Celebration at Victory Field: July 4th, Downtown Indianapolis

Take the family to an Indianapolis Indians game and end the night with a fantastic fireworks display! Tickets start at $17.


North

Spark! Fishers: June 24th-28th, Fishers

A five-day festival with the following activities: Spark!Fishers 5K race and 1-Mile Walk/Run, Spark!Fishers Car & Art Show, free concerts on Tuesday night and Friday night, with drone and fireworks shows, and Saturday’s Spark!Fishers Street Festival.

Star Spangled Symphony: July 3rd-5th, Conner Prairie in Fishers

Enjoy an evening of patriotic music by Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at Conner Prairie. Each evening ends with a fireworks finale.

Carmel Fest: July 3rd-4th, Carmel

An outdoor festival at Carmel Civic Square on Thursday, July 3rd and Friday, July 4th. The full schedule, including parade and fireworks, is on their event website.

Westfield Rocks the 4th: July 4th, Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield

This event has vendors, music and even a kids zone! It begins at 4:00 pm at Grand Park with fireworks at 10:00 pm.

Lights Over Morse Lake Festival: July 2nd-6th, Cicero

This event includes a festival with local vendors, a carnival, outdoor movies, a 5k run, live music and so much more! Fireworks begin at 10:00 pm on the 4th.

Fireworks Around Fishers: July 4th

Event information can be found on the Fishers Parks website about the following locations: Nickel Plate District, Cyntheanne Park, and Geist Reservoir.

Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks Festival: July 4th, Noblesville

The parade begins around 4:00 pm with the festival following from 6:00-10:00 pm at Forest Park. Fireworks are at 10:00 pm.

Whitestown Independence Day Celebration: July 3rd, Whitestown

A family event in Whitestown at Eagle Creek that begins at 6:00 pm will have live music, food, a kids zone, and fireworks at dark.

4th of July Celebration: July 4th, Lions Park in Zionsville

Come at 5:00 pm (when the parking lots open, $8 per car) to Lions Park in Zionsville and you can enjoy live music, yummy food, fun and games for kids, and their fireworks display at 10:00 pm.


West

Hendricks County Ribfest + BBQ: June 28th, Avon

From 10:00 am-10:00 pm, enjoy food, kids activities, a touch-a-truck event, hot air balloons, a petting zoo, and more! Fireworks begin at dark.

Brownsburg Lions Club 4th of July Extravaganza: June 30th-July 4th, Brownsburg

This festival includes carnival rides, live music and more! The Poor Jack’s Carnival is from June 30th through the 4th and on the 4th – the parade begins at 10:00 am, the concert is at 7:30 pm, and fireworks begin at 10:00 pm.

Night at the Park in Avon: July 3rd, Avon Town Hall Park

This event will be held from 6:00-10:00 pm on July 3rd at Avon’s Town Hall Park. Enjoy live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and a fireworks show!


East

New Pal Summer Fest: June 27th-28th, New Palestine

You can check out the New Pal Summer fest event page for all the info. You can experience live music, kids activities, and local vendors. Enjoy!

Fourth of July Parade & Fireworks: July 5th, Greenfield

Come to Beacon Hill on Saturday, July 5th to celebrate! From 4:00-10:30, enjoy live music, vendors, and fireworks begin right after 9:30 pm.

Fortville Summerfest & Fireworks: July 19th, Fortville

Things kick off at Fortville Summerfest with yoga at 8:00 am and the fun day includes delicious food, a kid zone, and face painting. The night ends with fireworks at dusk.


South

Greenwood Freedom Festival: June 28th, Greenwood

A parade starts the day at 4:00 pm and then food and beverage booths, live music, a kids zone, and new this year – a drone show! Check out their website for the parade route, live music info, and more!

Red, White and Blueberry Festival: July 5th-6th, Mallow Run Winery in Bargersville

A family friendly event with food, music by The Bishops, and all things blueberry wine and cider – head to Mallow Run from July 5th to 6th to celebrate! Check the website for times and schedule of events.

Franklin Fireworks Festival: July 3rd, Franklin Amphitheater in Franklin

Enjoy plenty of food vendors, entertainment and more! The festival begins at 5:30 pm and fireworks will start at 10:10 pm.

All American Day at the Park: July 3rd, Beech Grove

This event includes local vendors, starting at 5:30 pm. The event concludes with fireworks at approximately 10:00 pm.
